Rebecca’s epetition

We are calling on the Government to review/change guideline for the practicing of External Cephalic Version (ECV), primarily outlining the fact there needs to be more monitoring for these babies and more information given to the expectant parents regarding risks, complications, statistics and aftercare.

Please sign and share this petition.

We need 100,000 signatures for the Government to debate this issue.

  1. Firstly I’d like to say thankyou for sharing your precious daughter Rebecca with us as I sat and read about Rebecca I couldn’t help but cry for she was taken in such tragic circumstances I hope the petition will help to stop this happening again to other parents as it did to you and Rebecca’s daddy.
I am an angel mummy to 3 beautiful girls my first was back in 2010 I was 20 weeks gestation when my little girl sadly grew her wings and then again in 2012 I was 16 weeks gestation with identical twin girls when they sadly grew their wings and joined their big sister I sadly lost my girls because of domestic violence and still to this day I carry the guilt that I should have tried harder to have protected them , I should have tried harder to protect my growing tummy but no matter what I tried I was always in the wrong so please hunnie you don’t have to feel the pain and the guilt you do because the doctors and the hospital failed in your’s and Rebecca’s care they were the ones at fault hunnie not you and I pray you get the justice and peace for you and for Rebecca you are an inspiration for other mums to be so once again thankyou for sharing Rebecca with us she is absolutely beautiful .
Sending much love and butterfly hugs and kisses to all our angels who were sadly taken to soon x

  2. Your story is heartbreaking, I’m so sorry for you and your family. I hope you can find some peace.

Since I’m not from the UK, I cannot sign your petition, I wish I could.
You should start a global petition, at or some other site, because probably many countries have the same 30 minutes protocol. Signs from all over the world may put some pressure on UK Parliament, and on other countries governments as well, and it may raise awareness on mothers to be everywhere.

Thank you so much for being so brave to share Rebecca’s story, my heart is with you.
